 Onslow County Parks and Recreation will celebrate its 37th Annual Freedom Festival on July 4th, 2020.  Come out for a day of fun activities for children, listen to music on two stages, browse and shop vendor booths, and enjoy tasty treats from a variety of food vendors.

Onslow County Parks and Recreation would like to invite you to participate in the 37th Annual Freedom Festival on July 4, 2020.  We are now accepting vendor applications for food, arts and crafts, home based businesses, commercial businesses, and non-profit organizations.

Tips for a Great Fourth of July

  •  Arrive early 
  • Coolers welcome, no glass containers
  • Grills are allowed in the tree area between the festival area and the little league ballfield/concession area
  • Lost children and lost and found located at the information booth
  • Restrooms-located at the information booth, concession stand by the ballfields, and portable toilets throughout the festival area
  • Our parks are pet-friendly, but for this event, dogs are not allowed
  • Alcohol is not allowed
  • Shuttles begin at 6 p.m.; shuttle pickups/drop-offs will be at the Harley Davidson and the Onslow County Parks and Recreation Administrative Office.
