Weekly adventures include a show, craft, recipe, (or another craft), author interview, and a field trip.

20,000 BOOKS UNDER THE SEA

In this four-part musical mini-series, the viewers are transformed into Storyologists so they can help Page Turner, Brook, Mark, Cliff Hanger, and Kenny retrieve a special book from THE LOST LIBRARY OF ATLANTIS. In each episode, our intrepid heroes travel the seven seas including The Great Barrier Reef, The Bermuda Triangle, The Arctic, The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, and The Mariana Trench. Along the way, they must solve clues, read books, listen to stories, and decipher deep-sea riddles.

The Ocean’s Got Talent

We’ve delved the depths for some of the ocean’s most talented creatures. Octopus performs an amazing disappearing act, Mantis Shrimp proves he’s not just a pretty face, and Angler Fish has an act you’ll definitely want to catch. With all this talent, will Sea Slug be able to shine? Puppetry and live-action make this show a watery wonder.

Captain Book & The Book-A-Neers

Captain Book and his salty crew have traveled the world plundering stacks and raiding libraries across the world. But when the captain steals the wrong tome he is cursed to roam the world with a book attached to his hand! Worse, his crew is doomed to listen to the same tale over and over again UNTIL he returns his treasure of stolen stories! It’s all hands on deck in this piratical tale of scallywags and sea dogs.

Page Turner Adventures is known for their interactive storytheater shows that tour theaters, schools, and libraries around the world. But they’re also an Emmy Award Winning company that’s been producing high-quality, original programming for libraries since 2000. They’ve also created content for the Travel Channel, CSLP, Scholastic, PBS, and the International Reading Association. The founders, Kenny Mikey and Jill Ross Nadler are passionate about creating content for kids. Kenny, a former Ringling Brothers Clown, was handpicked by the circus to create a touring show for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Jill is a professional storyteller and author whose latest picture book, SUCH A LIBRARY! has been called an “absolute delight” by School Library Journal.
