Available Vaccines
The health department has a variety of immunizations available for the community including:
- All required childhood vaccines
Visit Childhood Vaccine Schedule - Many adult vaccines
- Flu
- Twinrix (Hep A/ Hep B combo)
- Shingles
- Tetanus (Tdap & Td)
- Pneumonia (Prevnar 13 & Pneumovax 23)
- Pre-exposure Rabies vaccination upon request
Immunization Fees
Children (6 months through 18 years old) who have Medicaid, are uninsured, are American Indian/Alaskan Native or are under-insured will receive immunizations at no cost.Flu, Pneumonia, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Shingles Vaccines are offered for private purchase or billed through insurance. We file many insurances but are in network with:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- NC Health Choice
- Cigna
- United Healthcare
- TriCare
- Medicare
- NC Medicaid

Most adults qualify for some immunizations with no insurance and no out of pocket expense.
