Real estate and personal property taxes are billed on an annual basis. Tax bills are mailed out during the month of July, and bills are due September 1 each year.

Becoming Delinquent

Annual taxes become delinquent if not paid on or before January 5 of following year.

Registered Motor Vehicle Taxes

Registered Motor Vehicle taxes are now combined with the North Carolina Vehicle Tax and Tag System.
