Adult volunteers are given a general introduction to the library's operations and invited to sign-up for the tasks that appeal to them most. Volunteers are asked to maintain a time log with the library's adult volunteer coordinator. After each work period, the volunteer should log his/her time so that the library will have a record of the number of hours worked. Orientation for new volunteers takes place on an individual basis.
