2021 Comprehensive Master Plan

Onslow County Parks and Recreation consulted with McGill Associates, P.A. to update the Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Master Plan to qualify for funding through the NC Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF) and other funding sources. The Master Plan will also serve as a guide for future park improvements and expansions. The recommendations were developed through extensive public outreach and existing facility assessments.

The Comprehensive Master Plan was approved and adopted at the Board of Commissioners meeting on November 1, 2021. Click here to view the plan.
