Summer Art Program
In June and July, the Museum hosts an annual Summer Art program for youth ages 8 to 14. Focusing on a specific theme, students create two and three dimensional art projects, meet interesting speakers, participate in a field trip, and present a special program for our Summer Art families There are 24 openings per week long session and placement is based upon registrant preference and availability.

Onslow County Museum is pleased to announce our 34th Annual Summer Art Program for Youth ages 8-14.
This year's summer art program will be divided differently than in years past. The first two sessions will be for youths aged 8-11 and the third session will be for youths aged 11-14.
Activities will include creating works of art inspired by antiquity including mosaics and terracotta urns, learning the Greek alphabet and Roman numerals, making musical instruments, learning about the gods, goddess, heroes, and creatures of mythology, and much more.
Thursdays of each session Summer Art campers will be traveling to ECU—Classical Studies Department to learn about Archaeology in the Ancient World. The bus will leave the Onslow County Museum promptly at 8:30. Pick up from the Museum at 4 pm. Please arrive at 8:15 am. Students should dress comfortably and have sunscreen, insect repellent, and a hat. Please bring a lunch and drink(s).REGISTRATION
Registration is $75.00 per student and includes all art materials, commemorative t-shirt, and field trip costs.
