Onslow County Parks and Recreation is partnering with Tinkergarten to offer outdoor classes where children can learn through play. Every Monday, families meet outdoors to connect and learn through play. In a 10-week class, Tinkergarten Leader, Taylor Roth, will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and create together. Parents and caregivers learn, too, as we’ll share insight into your child’s development. Classes will take place in Onslow Pines Park.

Relax, unwind, and watch a movie under the stars. Onslow County Parks and Recreation will offer an outdoor each month through October. Admission is free, open to the public, and the movie will begin at sunset. Don’t forget to bring a blanket or chair. Coolers welcome, no glass containers, and alcohol not permitted; popcorn available for purchase.
Onslow County Parks and Recreation is partnering with Coastal Carolina Artists and Crafters Guild to offer an Art Camp on May 27 for children ages seven to thirteen. All supplies are included, cost is $30 per child. Pre-registration is required; there must be a minimum of five participants to offer the camp.
