Most Onslow County Government Offices will be closed Friday, April 7, 2023 in observance of the Good Friday holiday.
Among the closures is the Onslow County Landfill and Convenience Sites on Friday for the holiday. Both the Landfill and Convenience Sites will resume for normal business on Saturday.
Onslow County Public Library branches and the Onslow County Museum will be closed on Friday and will reopen on Saturday with a normal schedule. The Main Library, which is the only branch that opens on Sunday, will be closed on Easter Sunday.
The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office and Onslow County Emergency Services will continue to operate for emergency services calls, but administrative offices will be closed.
Onslow County Department of Social Services will be closed, but if you need to make a report of child or elder abuse, neglect, exploitation, or dependency you can call the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office at 910 455-3113 and ask for the on-call social worker.
