More… OCPL has discovered many local authors who would like to share their work with library patrons through presentations and signing events. OCPL’s mission is to connect, inspire and empower. We are passionate advocates for literacy and lifelong learning and support local authors in their efforts. To serve both local authors and library patrons, The Library will offer a Local Author Showcase quarterly. Not only will authors be able to connect with the library, but with patrons and the community as well. Each month will feature four authors per date. Each author will have their own space to meet and greet. This will give patrons an opportunity to engage with the authors and learn about their books. Tables and chairs will be provided for each author to display their books and promotional materials.Less…
