Onslow County Animal Control provides for the humane sheltering, care, adoption, and redemption of stray and surrendered animals.  Animal Control Officers are responsible for the enforcement of state and local laws and ordinaces related to animal control.  We also provide education to increase awareness related to rabies, animal control laws, and responsible pet ownership.  In addition, we strive to eliminate the pet overpopulation problem through mandatory spay and neutering of all adopted animals.

Hours of Operation
     *  Monday through Thursday 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm
     *  Friday 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
     *  Saturday 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
     * Sunday and Holidays closed
Note:  All paperwork is stopped 30 minutes prior to closing time each day.
