Personal checks can not be accepted for payment of vehicle bills which have a DMV Block.
* Returned checks or electronic funds transfer which are not paid due to insufficient funds or nonexistence of an account are subject to a penalty of $25 or 10% of the amount, whichever is greater. (NCGS 105-357)
