Board of Elections  

The Onslow County Board of Elections is responsible for registering all eligible voters who submit voter registration applications. We are also in charge of maintaining and updating these registrations as we receive the changes in our office. Our office conducts all federal, state, and local elections within this county. We are responsible for recruiting and training all Election Precinct Officials. Also, our office is responsible for keeping on record the latest Campaign Finance reports that we receive from local candidates.  (Most of these reports can now be viewed on our website under the "Campaign Finance" tab.) After each election it is the precincts' duty to tally the election results.  Then our office takes these results and sends them to the State Board of Elections.
