The Architectural History of Onslow County by J. Daniel Pezzoni can be purchased at the Museum. $50.00 plus tax.
"Since 1976, the Onslow County Museum has dedicated itself to the documentation and preservation of Onslow County's rich architectural heritage. In the late 1980s, the Museum sponsored a survey of over 800 properties, leading to the designation of National Register districts in Jacksonville, Richlands, and Swansboro, and culminating in the publication of this book--the first comprehensive account of the historic buildings, settlements, and landscapes of one of North Carolina's older maritime counties."
