SUMMER ART PROGRAM

In June and July, the Museum hosts an annual Summer Art program for youth ages 8 to 14. Focusing on a specific theme, students create two and three dimensional art projects, meet interesting speakers, participate in a field trip, and present a special program for our Summer Art families. Registration is $65.00 and includes all art materials, commemorative T-shirt, and field trip costs. There are 24 openings per week long session and placement is based upon registrant preference and availability. Call the Museum for more information or to request an application.

A multidisciplinary program, summer art introduces students to art, history, science, and creative expression. This year’s theme is Revolutionary Onslow, a study of eighteenth century lifeways in the mid-colonial period leading up to and including the American Revolution. Each week also includes a variety of fun art activities, a field trip to Brunswick Town, and end of the week party for families.
