PARKS AND RECREATION WAIVER 

          Horse Arena rentals include the Arena and the color-coded areas surrounding the Arena.  The colored areas have restrictive uses, which are typed on the map.  Please read all type on the map.  Overflow parking for personal vehicles is available inside the park, and for horse trailers, across the road.  I understand that if reservation is granted, I will be responsible for any costs related to utilizing the park during or after normal operating hours, or damage to any park facility, grounds, or equipment by anyone associated with my group.  Any additional costs related to such operation will be reimbursed directly to the Onslow County Parks and Recreation Department, including the Park Attendant having to work past closing time due directly or indirectly to a reservation.  I also assume all responsibility for all licenses, fees, permits, etc. that may be required for the operation of a concession stand.  Responsibility for all proper sanitary conditions will be maintained and assumed by my group.  All items that require a permit from the Park Office (i.e. tables/chairs, tents, caterers, bands, pig cookers, etc.) will be cleared with the Parks Superintendent at least 72 hours in advance of reservation date.

           I hereby release and hold harmless the County of Onslow, the Onslow County Parks and Recreation Department, and any of their agents or representatives from and against any and all claims and liability and causes of action at law for loss, damage, or injury (including death) to persons and/or property which would or could be based on the qualification of the instructor/coach or the adequacy of the supervisor, facilities, or equipment used in the program named above.

           All Rules and Regulations of the Onslow County Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee will be adhered to.  I have read and understand the Parks and Recreation Department's Ordinance covering rules and regulations. The Onslow County Parks and Recreation Department has the right to cancel any event due to inclement weather or other justifiable reasons.
