Birth Control
All women of child-bearing age in need of birth control and yearly screenings are eligible for this program.

Care Coordination For Children
This program is for families who have children 0-5 years of age and who wish to obtain more information on the regarding the health of their child.

Child Physicals
Well child physical exams can be performed for children through the age of 20 including: daycare, pre-k, kindergarten and school physicals.

Diabetes Chronic Disease Education
Health Department staff will see people of all ages for most chronic diseases including diabetes and provide one-on-one counseling.

Immunizations
The Health Department provides a variety of immunizations including childhood vaccines, flu, pneumonia, and shingles.

International Travel Clinic
If you are traveling soon, the Health Department has an International Travel Clinic that can offer you vaccines to help you prepare for the best trip possible.

Nutrition & Counseling
Registered Dietitians are available to provide nutrition counseling for a variety of health concerns.

Pap Smears & Physical Exams
Pap Smears and physical exams are provided based on medical need.

Parenting Classes
This free class is recommended for pregnant women who are at 26-30 weeks or 6-7 months of pregnancy.

Pregnancy Care Management
Pregnancy Care Management (PCM) is a statewide program in North Carolina that promotes healthy mothers and babies.

Pregnancy Testing
The Health Department offers pregnancy testing by appointment.

Prenatal Clinic
The Prenatal Clinic provides the following maternity care services: complete family and patient history, physical exam, lab work, STD screening, education and counseling.

TB Risk Assessment and Screenings
Many employers and schools require the placement of a PPD (TB skin test) yearly and for some individuals a TB Risk Assessment and symptom screen is considered best practice.

WIC
WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) provides food at no cost to low income pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding women, infants, and children until the age of five.
