Order In The Court

Onslow County's judicial history has its roots in the colonial governance system put in place by the English during the 17th and 18th centuries. As the county grew in population and became part of the United States of America, the court system went through many changes culminating in the current Superior and District courts in use today. This exhibit explores those changes as well as law creation and enforcement at the municipal and county levels. View the exhibit panels below by clicking on the panel images.
