North Carolina Rabies Law

North Carolina law requires that all owned dogs, cats and ferrets must be vaccinated against rabies by four months of age. Rabies tags are required to be worn on the collar. Onslow County Animal Services provides one-year rabies vaccinations for county residents at the cost of $10.00 each. The rabies clinic is held each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the main shelter building located at 244 Georgetown Road, from noon-5:00pm. Please keep your pets and our community safe and vaccinate your pet against rabies.
