Community Health Assessment

About the Survey

The Community Health Assessment (PDF) is a survey of county residents taken every four years. It allows the Health Department to understand what residents see as the most important health issues affecting the community. It provides the foundation for improving and promoting good health in our community. Onslow County's 2012 CHA showed that community members are concerned about tobacco use and being overweight or obese.

The Onslow County Health Department's goal is to assist community members to be their healthiest. The Health Department does this by providing care, education, and resources so that each person in the community can meet his or her health goals.

On this page you will find new ideas, smart phone apps and activities to assist you in meeting your personal health and well-being goals. Look for new information and updated resources each month.
