| When and where is Onslow County Coastal BBQ Festival? | The BBQ Festival will be held on Saturday, September 30th at Onslow Pines Park located at, 1250 Onslow Pines Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540. |
| How much does it cost to attend? | Festival entrance admission is free. But sure to bring money for food, drinks, People's Choice BBQ tasting and other goodies for festival vendors. |
| Can I bring outside food and drinks? | No outside food and drinks including alcohol allowed at the festival. We will have food vendors other than BBQ on site. We will be selling tickets sample the BBQ meat from the competition. |

Kids Q Competition FAQs | |

| When and where is the Kids Q Competition? | The Kids Q Competition will be held on Saturday, September 30th at Onslow Pines Park located at, 1250 Onslow Pines Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540. |
| How old does my child need to be to participate? | Ages 6-17 years old can participate. These ages are split into two separate competitions. |
| Does it cost to participate? | Yes, the fee is $30. |

| Is there anything I need to bring? | Some ideas include: Garnish, utensils/knives, Propane/Charcoal Grill, Propane Tank/Charcoal, Seasoning/Marinades, Gloves, Hot Pads/Oven Gloves, Folding Chair. |
| Can I bring an electric grill? | No. Gas and charcoal cooking equipment only. |
| Are parents allowed to help? | Yes, participants are allowed 2 cook team members (must be 18 or older) to assist with cook competition setup/breakdown but not able to assist with cooking. |
