Collections
In addition to property taxes, the Collections Division also collects gross receipts taxes on leased vehicles, and issues County Business Licenses and Mobile Home Moving Permits.
Payments may be made by cash or check. Credit cards or e-check payments may be made online by visiting our online Tax Search, View, and Pay Site at http://www.onslowcountync.gov/taxpayments . A convenience fee is added for credit card and e-check payments.

Deed Recording Requirements
The Register of Deeds no longer accepts any deed transferring real property without certification that there are no delinquent ad valorem taxes or other taxes which the County Tax Collector is charged with collecting, and that the deed contains the Grantee's mailing address

Foreclosures
When real property accounts become seriously past due, the County may initiate a foreclosure proceeding.
