Emergency Assistance is designed to assist with families' sporadic emergency needs, such as a utility cut-off (electric or water) or an eviction notice. The family must have a child under the age of 18, within a certain degree of kinship, living in the home, a verifiable emergency and enough monthly income to maintain the household expenses.

Crisis Intervention Program (CIP) / Low Income Energy Assistance (LIEAP)

CIP is a program for households in a heating or cooling related emergency who have income less that 150% of the poverty level. LIEAP is a program that issues eligible households a credit on their heating bill, once per year. Applications for LIEP begin each year in December, for aged and disabled applicants and in January for all other applicants.
