Public Computers & Wi-Fi

All Onslow County Public Library (OCPL) branches have public computers and internet access. For visitors and those who are unable to obtain an OCPL library card, a two-hour visitor pass for computer use may be purchased for $2 from our Smart Kiosk™ Convenience Centers. Black and white and color printing is available for the cost of $0.20 per page.

Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi)


We also offer free Wi-Fi at all OCPL branches. Just bring your laptop, find a comfy chair, and surf away. Please understand that library staff are not allowed to configure or troubleshoot your laptop for a wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) connection. Please consult your computer's owners manual for assistance.

Sneads Ferry Branch Library


  • Adult Computer Lab: 18 computer workstations with Internet and Microsoft Office (including 1 handicap accessible).
  • Youth Computer Lab: 2 computer workstations with Internet and Microsoft Office.

Swansboro Branch Library


  • Adult Computer Lab: 11 computer workstations with Internet & Microsoft Office.
