Onslow County Senior Games

Onslow County Senior Games provides an opportunity for seniors 50 and better living in Onslow County to compete in year around activities.  North Carolina Senior Games began in 1983 with a vision to create a year-round health promotion and wellness education program for adults 50 years of age and better. Senior Games is a holistic approach to keeping the body, mind and spirit fit while enjoying the company of friends, family, spectators and volunteers. Onslow Senior Games holds Olympic-style events such as swimming, pickleball, track and field, golf, and more. The Silver Arts Showcase is a “Celebration of the creative spirit” and features categories in visual, heritage, literacy, and performing arts. Onslow County Senior Games will be held during the month of April; registration is now open for all events. For more information about how to be a participant, sponsor or volunteer, contact Local Coordinator, Anna Stanley, at 910-347-5332.
