As a community, we continue to recover from the impact of Hurricane Florence and clean up Onslow County. The County’s debris removal contractor will be completing the first debris pick-up pass within the next several days.

In preparation for the final pass, all remaining storm debris must be placed in three (3) separate piles along the right-of-way in the unincorporated areas of the County no later than Monday, November 19th, 2018. It will take several weeks for the debris removal contractor to pick up all of the debris as part of this second and final pass. Storm debris placed curbside after November 19th will not be picked up and will be the responsibility of the property owner. If you witness illegal dumping onto private property or NCDOT right-of-ways, please call law enforcement.
